Position Overview

The Health Carousel Diagnostic and Psychological Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our fully remote team, based in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This full-time position allows for the flexibility to create your own schedule while providing invaluable support to individuals, couples, and families navigating various mental health challenges.

Work Environment

You will work in a remote outpatient setting, engaging with clients through a secure virtual platform that prioritizes confidentiality and ease of access. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional health of clients.
  • Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions, addressing a wide array of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve include individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds, facing various mental health challenges. You will work with adolescents experiencing transitional issues, adults grappling with relationship dynamics, and couples seeking to improve their interactions. Our approach focuses on understanding clients' unique life experiences and fostering personal and relational growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a similar field is required.
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the appropriate state licensing board.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and potentially children.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to efficiently navigate electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous engagement in remote therapy settings is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
