As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker within our Detox Center, you will work in a flexible remote setting that prioritizes work-life balance. The role may involve shifts during evenings or weekends, based on patient needs and departmental requirements. On-call duties may also be a part of this position.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify patients' emotional, social, and financial needs upon entering the detox program.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on individual patient goals, including coping strategies and adjustment counseling.
• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions to address challenges such as grief, anxiety, and recovery support.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Coordinate post-discharge services by connecting patients to community resources that aid in their ongoing recovery and rehabilitation.
• Participate in regular team meetings, offering insights on social work practices and advocating for patients’ psychosocial needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements to facilitate effective patient tracking.

The primary focus of this role is to support patients undergoing detoxification, a critical transition in their recovery process. You will engage with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, addressing their unique emotional and psychological challenges while providing support for their families as well. This work is vital in enhancing patient well-being and promoting a positive treatment environment.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, mental health disorders, and effective crisis intervention techniques.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills, essential for working within a multidisciplinary team.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting, ideally in behavioral health or substance use treatment.
• Proven ability to navigate complex case management issues and provide support in high-stress situations.
