Job Description Summary Under limited supervision, leads in the management of the overall growth of the Branch's or Financial Advisor team's practice. Uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to provide guidance to associates in resolution of moderately complex issues, client service and team project management. Directs the practice's day to day operational functions, ensuring compliance with firm and regulatory policies and procedures. Assists with sourcing new advisors from initial contact through transition to the branch and acts in a professional sales and marketing capacity to help new and existing Financial Advisors meet sales goals. Extensive contact with internal and external customers is required to establish and maintain networking relationships that lead to creating new business. Job Description Responsibilities Development and execution of a strategic plan to monitor and control expenses to facilitate revenue growth of the practice, improve productivity, realize operational efficiencies and address competitive landscape. Leads delivery of the client experience, including management of administrative procedures as well as directing and coordinating execution of client requests. Works directly with home office personnel to coordinate branch-home office workflow. Researches and resolves complex problems relating to client accounts and inquiries. May review daily work of practice team's support staff, including evaluating workload and responsibilities of support staff to determine necessary assignment changes to maintain efficient workflow. Plan and coordinate special projects for practice to include client events for clients and prospects that result in a return on investment. Assess training needs, identify industry-developed training programs and coordinate training implementation. Educates and assists with training financial advisors on the latest platform and product enhancements, including new software, websites and other tools and resources. Educates financial advisors on the benefits of offered products and services for their clients through individual or group meetings and presentations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business partners both internal and external. Assists in sourcing and developing new financial advisor affiliations to achieve branch recruiting goals. Establishes relationships with prospective advisors, provides consultation and education regarding the Raymond James and Associates platform. Maintains a prospect database, gathering information and data on prospects to be used to determine suitability in the branch recruiting process. Participates in conference calls and meetings with prospects to understand their business and product mix and to address issues, interests and concerns. Prepares payout analyses based on prospect's production and mix of business; generates proposals for prospects. Coordinates /oversees the transition process for internal transfers and/or new affiliates with other functional areas to ensure a professional recruiting process from initial contact through transition to the branch ensuring proper execution of every step of the commit /onboarding process. Partners with home office departments to leverage product sales and generate new business opportunities for financial advisors. Responds to requests from Financial Advisors who need assistance in selling products. Assists with the creation of business development strategies, and with maintaining and expanding referral sources including the coordination of target marketing campaigns. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education/Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of three years' experience in the financial services industry ~or~ An equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training as approved by Human Resources Licenses SIE required provided that an exemption or grandfathering cannot be applied Series 7 Series 63, 65 and/or 66 as required by state Ability to obtain additional securities and advisory state registrations if required by state.
