International Tax Senior Manager - Austin, TX (Remote)

Position Overview:
The Senior Manager in International Tax Services will manage a wide range of complex global tax engagements, advise multinational clients on cross-border strategies, and lead consulting initiatives while fostering the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead the full scope of international tax planning, consulting, and compliance engagements for a diverse client base.
● Advise multinational clients on global tax implications, coordinating U.S. and foreign law to optimize strategies.
● Consult on cross-border structuring, tax treaties, offshore investment, and repatriation strategies.
● Structure inbound investments for foreign entities, including U.S. withholding, treaty planning, and FIRPTA considerations.
● Manage engagement budgets, objectives, resources, billing, and performance.
● Identify risks and provide solutions to complex tax issues.
● Mentor, develop, and manage staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
● Support practice development and contribute to client relationship-building efforts.
● Educate clients and team members on international tax developments.
● Stay current on global tax regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Taxation or LLM preferred.
● CPA and/or JD required; LLM in Taxation is a plus.
● 7+ years of progressive international tax experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
● Strong expertise in outbound/inbound transactions, transfer pricing, foreign tax credits, and tax minimization.
● Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines effectively.
● Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
● Experience with tax software such as ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement is a plus.
