Telecommuting: 40% Telecommuting permitted

JOB DUTIES:

  • Design and develop enterprise web applications, including frontend, middleware WebApi, and backend database for portfolio accounting.

  • Support the effort estimation for new features and modifications to existing features.

  • Organize development plans and coordinate with other developers for implementation of mid-sized features.

  • Work with Product Owner to create, fine tune, estimate, and plan the implementation of User stories.

  • Leverage subject matter expertise to help drive design decisions with technical team leadership.

  • Build, deploy, and support high-quality software solutions for both internal and external customers.

  • Design and implement scalable enterprise data integration solutions using AWS Services, .Net, Angular, and other AWS components.

  • Utilize common code components to access data, log issues, and monitor code performance for the purpose of creating stable and supportable solutions.

  • Develop and maintain Angular Single Page Applications (SPAs) and WebAPI services.

  • Write unit tests and integrate them into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (Cl/CD) pipeline.

  • Participate in all phases of the development process, including construction, testing, and implementation.

  • Documenting development stories and proof of concepts.

  • Working with business partners to gather requirements.

  • 40% Telecommuting permitted.

REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in offered role, Engineer, Software Developer (or a closely related occupation) within financial services industry.

ALTERNATIVELY: Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in offered role, Engineer, Software Developer (or a closely related occupation) within financial services industry.

Applicants must possess demonstrated expertise with the following:

  • Demonstrated Expertise (DE) creating front end applications using Single Page Applications (SPAs) in Angular or other frameworks.

  • DE writing WebAPI services or MVC in .Net Core or .Net Framework for deployment to cloud or on-prem.

  • DE utilizing database technologies on MSSQL, MySQL or MongoDB, including writing SQL, creating stored procedures, and creating data structures to support the development effort.

  • DE implementing source control systems (GIT or TFS) for branching, merging, and version history management.

  • DE working with Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, using GitHub, Octopus, or similar, to set up automated builds, run tests, manage artifacts, and deploy applications.


Pay Range:

$167,149 - $177,149 per year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
