• Meet with clients regularly to conduct thorough assessments of their mental health status, identifying strengths and areas for growth.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness strategies, to facilitate client progress.
• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members, providing referrals to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when appropriate.

As a Mental Health Counselor with our organization, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and families who deal with complex mental health disorders. Your clients may present with a range of difficulties, from managing everyday stress to navigating severe mental health crises. You will need to employ a culturally competent approach to ensure all clients feel understood, respected, and supported throughout their journey.

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and a commitment to delivering culturally responsive care.
• Strong crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, particularly utilizing inclusive and culturally sensitive methods.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
• A track record of collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals.

This rewarding position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000–140,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus of $3,000. Benefits include:
