Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, focusing on symptoms of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals, preferences, and specific mental health challenges.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate meaningful progress.
  • Educate clients and their families on the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance recovery.

Qualifications
  • A valid California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.
