POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong consultative presales skills, a strong understanding of the fashion manufacturing process, and technical credibility in CAD environments. This is a highly strategic role focused on helping customers envision and validate their future-state cutting room and workflow transformation.
The Presales Consultant plays a key role in supporting the development and advancement of strategic opportunities involving the Company's CAD ecosystem, digital workflow solutions, and related manufacturing technologies. This position will primarily focus on CAD project opportunities in the Fashion market, while also supporting other market opportunities as needed. The role requires a strong combination of consultative presales capability, understanding of manufacturing workflows, and technical credibility in CAD environments.
Working closely with sales, customers, and internal stakeholders, this role will help identify customer needs, analyze current workflows, position the Company's solutions, and support the technical win through discovery, demonstrations, business cases, and solution definition.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the sales team in identifying, qualifying, and advancing CAD-related opportunities, primarily in the Fashion market
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer workflows, operational challenges, business priorities, and digital transformation goals
  • Analyze customer processes related to CAD structure, pattern engineering, marker making, order flow, and cutting room operations
  • Bring technical credibility to opportunities involving customers using CAD environments
  • Assess how customer CAD structure and process maturity impact solution readiness and successful adoption
  • Deliver impactful presentations, technical discussions, demonstrations, and workflow reviews tailored to customer needs
  • Position the Company's solutions through business value, process improvement, and measurable operational outcomes
  • Collaborate with account managers to develop business cases, ROI justification, and value-based proposals
  • Support benchmark, pilot, and proof-of-value activities when required
  • Contribute to competitive positioning by understanding customer alternatives, workflows, and market expectations
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Delivery teams to support opportunity development and internal alignment
  • Ensure structured handoff of qualified opportunities into later project phases

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing, Apparel/Fashion Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in presales, consulting, industrial software, CAD environments, or manufacturing operations
  • Strong understanding of fashion manufacturing workflows and/or cutting room processes
  • Experience with CAD solutions is a must
  • Ability to assess customer workflows and identify opportunities for operational improvement through technology
  • Strong consultative, analytical, and customer-facing communication skills
  • Ability to translate technical workflows into business value and customer outcomes
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence both operational users and leadership teams
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting software, SaaS, or digital workflow solutions
  • Exposure to Industry 4.0, digital transformation, or connected manufacturing initiatives
