• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate each patient’s trauma history and individual needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to facilitate trauma recovery and enhance resilience, utilizing methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention support during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring clients have immediate access to necessary resources during high-stress moments.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, as well as available community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency and compliance.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focusing on trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay current with the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continuously improve the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.

Your primary focus will center on individuals harmed by trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a significant role in assisting clients as they navigate their trauma histories and foster new pathways to healing. Your specialized knowledge in trauma psychology will directly impact patient recovery and support their overall mental health journeys.

• A Master’s or doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of valid and active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within Texas.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is desirable.
• Proficient understanding of trauma-focused therapies and the effects of trauma on mental health, along with proven ability to apply these modalities effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that engage clients in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner.
• Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in using EHR systems and computer applications.
• Capability to function collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating calmness in high-stress environments.

• Demonstrated background in delivering trauma-informed therapies and interventions.
• Engagement in ongoing education related to trauma recovery methodologies is preferred.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
