Total Recovery Mind Wellness Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team specializing in trauma care. This role supports a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility in managing work-life balance while still delivering essential mental health services. • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ history and emotional well-being, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), focusing on the recovery of the individual.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and enhance personal resilience.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring integrated and holistic care for every patient across our practice.
• Provide timely crisis intervention support, especially during trauma-related emergencies, to ensure the safety and stability of clients.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards of confidential care.
• Engage in regular team meetings and professional development sessions, focused on advancing knowledge in trauma-informed care practices.
• Continuously research and adopt current best practices in trauma therapy to enhance patient outcomes.

We primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma in various forms, including childhood trauma, sexual assault, domestic violence, and other life-altering events. Our clinic specifically addresses the unique needs of clients dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, creating a tailored therapeutic environment that promotes healing.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mental health counseling, with a strong emphasis on trauma therapy.
• Proficiency in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapeutic modalities is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients.
• Technical proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications to manage patient documentation effectively.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload, remaining calm under pressure while providing high-quality care.
• Familiarity with current legislation and best practices regarding mental health care and patient confidentiality.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
