Remote Eye Model information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Eye Model, and why are they important?

To excel as a Remote Eye Model, you need clear eye health, photogenic features, and experience in modeling or related fields, often supported by a strong portfolio. Familiarity with high-resolution cameras, virtual meeting tools, and remote collaboration platforms is typically required. Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to take direction well are important soft skills for success in this field. These skills and qualities ensure you can consistently deliver the desired visual results for clients in a remote setting.

What are the main challenges of working as a remote eye model, and how can I prepare for them?

One of the main challenges of working as a remote eye model is ensuring you have the proper lighting, camera quality, and setup to capture high-resolution, detailed images or videos of your eyes as required by clients. You’ll often need to follow specific instructions for angles, expressions, and makeup, so attention to detail and the ability to interpret directions remotely are essential. Building a professional portfolio, investing in quality equipment, and maintaining consistent communication with clients or agencies will help you stand out and succeed in this niche modeling role.

What are remote eye models?

Remote eye models are individuals who model their eyes for photography or video shoots, often for advertising, medical, or beauty industries, while working from a location separate from the client or production team. This role typically involves close-up shots of the eyes for products like contact lenses, makeup, or medical demonstrations. Remote eye models may need to have high-quality cameras, good lighting, and the ability to follow specific posing or shooting instructions provided virtually by clients. The job can be performed from home, making it accessible to people globally as long as they meet the technical and appearance requirements. Payment and job arrangements are usually managed online through agencies or freelance platforms.

OUR MISSION

Perry Health is rethinking chronic care through a fully remote, continuous care model. We provide expert diabetes education and clinical management for Medicare patients, delivered by a comprehensive team of specialized Registered Nurses, Registered Dietitians, and Accountability Coaches.

Our model integrates high-level clinical expertise with real-time data from cellular-connected glucometers and advanced CGM management. By bridging the gap between physician visits with proactive, data-driven support, we deliver life-changing outcomes for our members.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) passionate about remote care delivery. In this role, you will lead diabetes education and management, focusing on medical intervention and acute data management for our members. You will partner with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure members receive expert clinical attention and education to lead healthier lives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide call-based care and clinical management to patients in our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program.
  • Triage acute blood glucose readings and monitor real-time data trends via our proprietary EHR.
  • Support members with medication and insulin interventions to ensure safe and effective diabetes management.
  • Deliver empathic, high-touch care that alleviates the emotional burden of managing a chronic disease.
  • Collaborate with the broader care team — including RDs and Accountability Coaches — to reinforce clinical goals and SMART goal progression.
  • Adhere to Perry Health policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures to ensure ongoing clinical quality and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: ADN or BSN in Nursing required.
  • License: Valid, unencumbered Compact (Multi-State) RN license required. Additional active licensure in IL, MI, and/or NY is highly preferred.
  • Certification: CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience managing patients with diabetes.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and behavior change theory is a plus.
  • Skills: Motivated learner, willing to acquire proficiency with the necessary technology (computers, software applications, phone systems); experience or training in Motivational Interviewing to support sustainable behavior change is a plus.
  • Traits: Creative thinking, an eye for detail, ability to work independently, a positive attitude, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced atmosphere while collaborating with diverse groups at all levels of the organization.
  • Language: Spanish-speaking highly preferred.

COMPENSATION & PAYMENT TERMS

Contractors are paid on a monthly basis following Net 30 payment terms.

  • Clinical Pay: $20.00 per 20-minute clinical encounter. An encounter is defined as a successful call with a member, primarily spent in live conversation, with chart review time also counting toward this total.
    • Example: Clinical encounters are scheduled in 30-minute intervals. Completing two encounters within an hour that each meet the engagement-time requirement pays a total of $40 for that hour.
  • Non-Clinical Pay: $30.00/hour flat rate for required meetings and training.

OUR VALUES

Our patients are our purpose: We understand that the decisions we make have an impact on our patients' health. We are a healthcare company above all else. The choices we make are always in the best interest of our patients.

Bring your best self: The authenticity of our team drives our innovation. We show up for each other and our patients every day. Your teammates will count on you for motivation and support, and you should expect the same in return. Conversely, recognize when you are not at your best so you can seek support and take time to recharge.

Own your ideas and your results: Each member of the team contributes to the growth of Perry. Identify problems, seek solutions that maximize impact. Ownership is key; seek out support from team members, and take accountability for the results of your efforts.

Move fast, but with purpose: Consistent, rapid growth is expected. Set goals, work with purpose, assess, reassess, and pivot when necessary. Perfection should not impede progress. Ego should not prevent reevaluation. Each day will provide opportunities for learning and growth and will move us closer to our goals.

Good ideas come from anywhere: Ideas, good and bad, come from every level of the organization. Employees at all levels are empowered to share their ideas and feedback. The whole of Perry is greater than the sum of its parts. All ideas are considered, and when a decision is made we will move forward together.

Perry Health is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace, providing equal employment and advancement opportunities to all team members. We are building an environment where every Perry Health team member can thrive, feel a sense of belonging, and do the best work of their careers.
