This position primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring a collaborative and supportive team dynamic. Our outpatient office in Jackson serves as a hub for team meetings and collaborative case reviews. The remote work arrangement is designed to foster autonomy while integrating opportunities for professional development and regular supervision. You will have access to a variety of tools, including electronic health records (EHRs) and telehealth platforms, to facilitate effective therapy delivery and documentation.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client mental health needs, strengths, and challenges, ensuring a thorough understanding of each client's unique circumstances.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based strategies, actively engaging clients in the goal-setting process and adapting approaches as needed.
• Lead engaging therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and other modalities to assist clients in overcoming obstacles and achieving their goals.
• Collaborate effectively with family members and other professionals within the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated and holistic care.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions, treatment progress, and any changes in client status to support continuity of care and meet regulatory standards.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share best practices and explore innovative approaches to therapy delivery.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Access Healing Therapy, you will work with a varied client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Patients may present with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and more. This diversity in client experiences allows for rich, dynamic interactions and the opportunity for counselors to apply various therapeutic modalities to meet individual needs.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of an active state license as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD is mandatory for this role.
• Proficient computer skills, especially with Google Suite and electronic health records (EHRs), to ensure efficient documentation and communication.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of treatment modalities applicable to a variety of client needs.
• Familiarity with teletherapy and remote counseling techniques is advantageous, particularly as we continue to expand our telehealth offerings.
• Previous experience engaging in multidisciplinary teamwork and collaboration will enhance teamwork effectiveness.
