Work EnvironmentThis role will primarily involve remote work, providing you the flexibility to connect with clients in their homes while also accessing state-of-the-art outpatient facilities when necessary. Our outpatient office is equipped with the latest technology to facilitate virtual therapy sessions, allowing for both group and individual therapy. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering care to young adults ages 18 to 30 facing mental health challenges. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group sessions where clients can express themselves, share experiences, and build a supportive community.
- Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one counseling that delves into clients' thoughts and feelings, helping them develop effective coping strategies tailored to their unique situations.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with clients to create goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their individual needs and aspirations.
- Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on evaluations and feedback.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside a diverse team of mental health professionals to coordinate care, consult on complex cases, and promote the best outcomes for clients.
Your focus will be on facilitating mental health recovery for young adults, particularly in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) setting. You will have the rewarding opportunity to guide these clients through critical life transitions, helping them address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. QualificationsTo excel in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Current Licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.
- A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred but a Bachelor’s with relevant experience will be considered.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a passion for working with young adults facing mental health challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
While not mandatory, the following experiences are desirable:
- Prior experience working in outpatient settings or with young adult clients.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.
- Ability to navigate electronic health records (EHR) and treatment planning software.
