Hope Balance Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Therapist specializing in marriage and family therapy to join our progressive team in Springfield, Illinois. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while serving clients from the comfort of your own home. You will primarily engage with clients in an outpatient context, using teletherapy platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and communication. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments that demonstrate cultural competence and recognize individual life experiences, contributing to personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions and best practices tailored to each client’s unique backgrounds and needs, from individual therapy to family and group sessions.
• Engage actively in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and external agencies to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
• Offer crisis intervention services, delivering immediate support during mental health emergencies, and establishing safety plans with clients.
• Provide education to clients and families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of all treatment interactions in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in case conferences and supervision meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights on cultural competency.
• Stay current with evolving research and methodologies in mental health therapy, attending professional development workshops and training sessions.

Your expertise will be focused on a broad spectrum of clients, including, but not limited to, individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma-related disorders. • Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic techniques, and the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic settings.
• Demonstrable experience delivering individual and group therapies, particularly using culturally responsive strategies.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, adept at building rapport with a diverse array of clients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
• Commitment to upholding ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and the confidentiality of patient information.
• A collaborative spirit, willing to actively participate in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.

• Experience working in diverse environments with a variety of patient populations, including ethnic minorities and the LGBTQ+ community.
• Prior involvement with teletherapy platforms or remote patient engagement strategies.
• Background in crisis management and acute care settings is an advantage.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
