About the Role
At Uber Freight, we're transforming the future of logistics-and we're looking for detail-oriented, proactive professionals to join our team.
As a Logistics Specialist, you'll play a key role in executing day-to-day freight operations, ensuring shipments move efficiently, on time, and in line with customer expectations. This is a fast-paced, execution-focused role where you'll manage shipments, resolve issues, and collaborate across teams to keep operations running smoothly.
You'll work closely with shipping sites, carriers, and internal teams, using tools like a Transportation Management System (TMS) and email platforms to manage high-volume activity and real-time problem solving.
This position follows a hybrid schedule based in Exton, PA (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
What You'll Do
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of shipments within a Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Ensure all loads are planned, executed, and delivered on time
  • Monitor shipments and proactively resolve issues such as delays, errors, or carrier challenges
  • Communicate with shipping sites, carriers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues
  • Manage a high volume of emails and system updates while prioritizing urgent requests
  • Troubleshoot shipment issues across multiple transportation modes, including Truckload (TL), Less-Than-Truckload (LTL), rail, bulk, and specialized freight, escalating when needed
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions
  • Maintain accurate shipment, rate, and operational data within systems
  • Assist with resolving billing or invoice discrepancies

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across systems (email, TMS, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 2+ year of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
  • Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Experience supporting gas, chemical, bulk, rail, or hazardous material transportation operations preferred
