Prospect Behavioral Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This full-time position will be conducted in a remote work setting to offer flexible and accessible care to our patients. While you will primarily work from home, you will also utilize our outpatient office as needed for patient evaluations and consultations. We prioritize making mental health support readily available to those in our community.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand patient needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Practice active listening and empathetic engagement with patients, creating a safe space for them to express their concerns and emotions.
• Diagnose mental health conditions and develop evidence-based coping strategies to help patients manage their symptoms.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, providing ongoing adjustments to treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health concepts, stress management, and trauma-informed care practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social and medical service providers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Commit to professional development through continuing education, maintaining your National Certified Counselor certification, and staying current with best practices in the mental health field.

You will be primarily working with patients who have experienced trauma, including those recovering from personal injury, significant stress, or emotional distress related to life events. Your role will focus on providing these individuals with the tools, resources, and support necessary to cope with their experiences and work towards personal healing and growth. Your expertise will address both immediate mental health needs and long-term recovery goals.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with trauma patients, demonstrating the ability to navigate their specific challenges.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective patient interaction and collaboration with colleagues.

• Experience with assessment tools and methodologies specific to trauma care.
• Demonstrated ability to implement patient-centered therapeutic approaches that foster positive recovery outcomes.
• Knowledge of community resources and healthcare networks to support holistic patient care.
