ABOUT THE ROLE

If you're someone who loves storytelling, enjoys building relationships, and gets excited about seeing creators featured in the media, you'll thrive in this role.

As a Jr. Publicist, you'll partner closely with our Director of PR & Marketing to help elevate the visibility of our creator roster. From pitching stories and coordinating interviews to managing event opportunities and media requests, you'll play an important role in helping our creators build their public presence and strengthen their personal brands.

You'll collaborate with creators, media contacts, brands, and internal teams to ensure every opportunity is thoughtfully managed and every interaction reflects the high level of service TSS is known for.

Core Responsibilities

Support Creator Publicity

  • Work alongside the Director of PR & Marketing to execute publicity strategies across our creator roster.
  • Pitch stories, coordinate interviews, and build relationships with reporters to keep our creators top of mind for press opportunities.
  • Assist in writing and editing press releases, media alerts, and pitch letters.

Coordinate Media & Events

  • Manage inbound interview requests, coordinate schedules, and ensure creators are prepared for media opportunities.
  • Assist in managing creator event calendars and help secure opportunities at brand events, red carpets, and industry activations.
  • Support event planning, guest list coordination, on-site event management, and awards submissions as needed.

Keep Everything Organized

  • Track, collect, and report creator and agency media coverage.
  • Create, maintain, and update media contact lists, schedules, and publicity trackers.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Ensure consistent and clear communication with creators and cross-functional teams to keep publicity initiatives running smoothly.

Experience Required

  • 23 years of experience in public relations or publicity, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Experience working with creators, influencers, talent, or public personalities.
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape and how stories are successfully pitched.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Experience using Muck Rack or other media databases and monitoring platforms.
  • Passion for influencer marketing, digital media, and the creator economy.
  • Experience coordinating interviews, media appearances, or live events.
