NAVA Software solutions is looking for a Kafka Engineer
Details:
Kafka Admin/Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6-12 months
This person will be responsible for designing and implement integration solutions between IBM MQ and Apache Kafka to ensure seamless data flow and event-driven communication and data streaming to support near real-time communication between different systems
  • Design and implement integration solutions between ActiveMQ and Apache Kafka to ensure seamless Event-driven communication and data streaming to support near real-time communication between different applications in AWS
  • Design / Implement Kafka producers/consumers for high-throughput, low-latency data processing in a trading environment
  • Develop and deploy real-time messaging applications using Kafka
  • Troubleshoot Kafka-related issues and optimize performance for high-frequency claim related events

Required:
  • 5 years of relevant experience in Kafka, AWS, and Java
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in Kafka Integrations
  • Proficiency with Apache messaging technologies (e.g., Apache ActiveMQ or Apache Kafka) and MQ systems (e.g., IBM MQ)
  • Strong Java development experience with expertise in real-time messaging and Kafka
  • Experience integrating Kafka with Cloud and On-prem applications and managing high-volume, low-latency data streams
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and fault tolerance principles
  • Python development experience

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer/Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an associated field
