POSITION SUMMARYย
Red Clay Consulting is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to support our incoming marketing agency relationship and a broad range of internal marketing operations. This role serves as the day-to-day operational hub for agency coordination, conferenceย logistics, proposal support, brand administration, and content development. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of marketing operations experience, expert-level PowerPoint and graphic design skills, proven event coordination capabilities, hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted marketing tools, and the ability to contribute to thought leadership and demand-generation initiatives.ย
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESย
Marketing Agency Coordinationย ย
Manage the monthly content calendar across all five retainer pillars: Video, Web, Social, Content, and Emailย
Conference & Event Coordinationย
Own fullย logisticsย for Red Clay conference activities at Oracle EDGE, OUUG, UTA, IUCX, and similar eventsย
Research, evaluate, and book venues, catering, entertainment, and host receptions and bar eventsย
Execute event-specific promotional strategies, including pre-event outreach, onsite engagement plans, and post-event lead follow-up in coordination with the business development teamย
Proposal & Presentation Supportย
Work with the Proposal Managers to administer the library of proposal content, capability statements, account profiles, project profiles, staff bios, and graphics for efficient reuseย
Content Development & Thought Leadershipย
Manage an editorial content calendar aligned with market trends, regulatory developments, utility industry events, and business development prioritiesย
Digital Marketing & Demand Generationย
Administer multi-channel digital marketing campaigns including email nurture programs, LinkedIn campaigns, and paid search, to generate qualified leads and expand the pipelineย
Administer the firm's website, including SEO strategy, landing page optimization, and analytics-driven content updatesย
CRM & Data Managementย
Maintain and update Red Clay's CRM platform, ensuringย accurateย and current account profiles, contact records, and opportunity dataย
Administer FOIA requests asย required, including submissions, status tracking, and records documentationย
Brand Administration & Marketing Operationsย

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSย
Aย Bachelorโsย Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline isย required.ย
Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce professional marketing content, including white papers, case studies, and blog postsย
Proficiencyย with Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlookย
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSย
Experience with SEO, website management, or marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, WordPress, or similar)ย
