Our expert team of SAP functional consultants, developers, project managers, data engineers, and security analysts create value for customers in the utilities, telecommunications, and public services sectors. We work with our clients to discover and define business problems, then collaborate with them to implement people, process, and technology solutions to realize benefits across the business.

• We’re a team of 50+ staff and a network of 200+ alumni with 17+ years of experience delivering SAP solutions.

Why we need you

We are looking for an SAP HCM software tester for an ECC to S/4 migration project with experience collaborating closely with developers to test and remediate defects in the next evolution of their SAP solutions. As a Tester, you will be helping us understand business needs, assess the quality of developed software, track defects, and work with the software testing and development teams to remediate defects and ensure that we deliver high-quality solutions.

What you’ll do

You will be a core part of the team working with our client and the SI to understand and test the solutions across SAP HCM. SuccessFactors is not in-scope.

  • Support the design and development of test scripts, test cases, design changes, and other types of documentation, such as end-to-end process testing for delta design changes and Fiori apps changes.

  • Execute manual testing (e.g., UAT, SIT, regression testing) and other testing as required.

  • Develop documentation to track defects, identifying potential issues and the steps to reproduce them.

  • Communicate with your software testing team and development the nature of defects and work with developers to remediate them.

Who you are

  • Experienced tester: You have 4+ years of experience in SAP software testing across UAT, SIT, and regression testing in SAP environments (e.g., Fiori, SAP GUI). You are experienced in conducting test scripts, documenting defects, and working with development teams to reproduce and remediate defects.

    • Knowledge of test automation is ideal.

  • Problem solver: You have excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Context-driven: You have a strong ability to effectively review and understand business and functional requirements, as well as understand the software being tested.

  • Team player: You effectively partner with others to get things done.

  • Clear communicator: You are an excellent writer and excel at capturing and communicating complex information into simple messaging.

  • Outcomes driven: You're able to work independently to execute structured manual testing and defect recording, as well as ad hoc testing to dig into scenarios and understand what's not working.

Additional information

  • Full-time or part-time role.

  • Flexible hours per week - choose your own level of engagement.

  • Remote, no travel, EST hours of operation, 8a.m. - 5p.m.

  • Background check required.
