Key Responsibilities

  • Document client interactions and progress accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Engage in regular professional development and supervision sessions to stay current with best practices and enhance skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will be diverse, encompassing individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. You will employ culturally sensitive practices, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Your expertise and understanding will play a critical role in fostering trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
  • A minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling.
  • A strong understanding of mental health disorders and a comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner.
  • Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering proactive engagement with clients and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems and relevant computer applications to manage client data efficiently.
  • A solid commitment to upholding professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality, and respecting personal boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits
