Senior Epic Systems Analyst - Epic Payer Platform

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6 months to Hire

Job Description:

• Must complete the Sr Epic Systems Analyst Assessment
Responsibilities and Duties:
This role is responsible for configuring, rolling out, and supporting assigned Epic Payer Platform applications. Key responsibilities include:
• Business/Systems Analysis: Conducting business and systems analysis to define requirements and document processes.
• System Design and Implementation: Designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting Epic Payer Platform software to meet user needs.
• Problem Resolution: Working with end-users to identify and resolve system issues.
• Workflow Optimization: Develops and documents workflow analysis while evaluating user experience. Supports and maintains environment or applications using knowledge of the applications and technologies in the environment while recommending enterprise level solutions.
• System Maintenance and Updates: Using knowledge of Epic, configures changes within the Epic environments to provide standardized, comprehensive workflows. Makes decisions that refine and improve current practices and develops new approaches (researching and assessing new technologies or functionality).
• Project Management: Contributing to and managing medium to large projects independently, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Requires analytical skills (problem solving, root cause analysis) to complete complex assignments and ability to visualize, articulate and solve complex problem. Analyst is able to independently initiate process improvement.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5-7+ years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules.
• Epic Application Certification/Accreditation.
• Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of project management principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a relevant field; 5 years healthcare industry experience, preferably in the insurance segment, in lieu of degree.
• Epic certification in one or more Payer Platform modules (e.g., Payer Platform Core, Payer Platform Member Experience, Tapestry) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and supporting Epic Payer Platform solutions in a healthcare setting.
