Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Active Epic Bridges Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of HL7 v2 messaging (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, etc.).
  • Experience with FHIR APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows and EHR/EMR integrations.
  • Experience in interface troubleshooting, message validation, and production support.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, configure, and maintain Epic Bridges interfaces.
  • Develop and support HL7 v2, FHIR, and web service integrations between Epic and third-party applications.
  • Perform interface analysis, data mapping, workflow validation, and end-to-end testing.
  • Monitor interface queues, diagnose failures, and resolve integration-related incidents within SLA.
  • Collaborate with Epic application teams, integration teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Support production deployments, upgrades, monthly releases, and system enhancements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
  • Create and maintain interface specifications, workflow diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in on-call support for critical production issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards and organizational security requirements.
