• Collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to undertake comprehensive assessments, ensuring thorough understanding of each patient's needs and readiness for discharge planning.
• Conduct individual, group, and family psychoeducational sessions, providing necessary education regarding mental health topics and treatment strategies.
• Lead insightful process groups aimed at fostering interpersonal skills and emotional support among clients.
• Design and continually update individualized treatment plans during collaborative treatment planning meetings, adapting approaches as the patient's needs evolve.
• Conduct timely assessments of client safety, actively identifying and responding to risks such as self-harm or emotional crises.
• Document all clinical interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
• Engage in ongoing follow-ups post-discharge to ensure continuity of care and support long-term recovery goals.

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse array of clients seeking support for various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. This role requires you to be attuned to the cultural and individual differences within your client base, providing tailored approaches that resonate with their unique backgrounds and life experiences.

• Master's degree in a behavioral science or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid California licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients.
• Cultural competency and comfort in working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, aiding effective interaction with clients and team members alike.
• Proficient in timely documentation, ensuring accurate records of client interactions and treatment progress.

• Previous experience in telehealth counseling, comfortable with virtual assessment and intervention strategies.
• Background in developing and leading therapeutic groups is highly desirable.
• Experience with electronic health record systems for efficient client documentation.
