• Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions via telehealth, ensuring adherence to ethical and confidentiality standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ family dynamics, relationship patterns, and trauma histories to guide treatment planning.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans suited to their unique situations and therapeutic goals.
• Provide immediate crisis support to clients in urgent situations and liaise with local crisis services when needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring efficient record-keeping and adherence to compliance standards.
• Equip clients and their families with effective communication strategies, boundary-setting techniques, and behavioral modifications to enhance their daily functioning and emotional resilience.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and collaborate on comprehensive care plans.

Your clients will come from various backgrounds and may present with a range of issues including mental health disorders, relationship conflicts, and family dynamics. Our clinic serves a diverse population, and as an LMFT, you will be instrumental in guiding clients through their therapeutic journeys.

• An active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Vermont, approved by the Board of Behavioral Science.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with additional education or a Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, specifically in couples and marriage counseling.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential for effective client interactions and teamwork.

• Experience providing telehealth services is preferred; however, training and orientation will be provided to ensure your comfort and efficiency in this modality.
• Familiarity with ethical guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and best practices in mental health care.
• Ability to respond to crises with a calm and effective approach, demonstrating professionalism under pressure.
• A flexible attitude towards working with a comprehensive array of client issues, spanning mental health concerns, relationship challenges, and family dynamics.
