Job Description

We are seeking a Project or Senior Project Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist to join our environmental division in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are currently seeking a professional to conduct and manage due diligence - Phase 1 and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, groundwater testing and sampling, and field contractor oversight. Ability to conduct and manage asbestos/lead paint surveys a plus. The successful candidate will:

  • independently manage projects and clients;
  • assist in the collection and analysis of data from sampling, reports, maps, drawings, tests, and aerial photographs to evaluate, plan, and permit projects.
  • assist with development of proposals.
  • attend on-and off-site client meetings, effectively communicating with clients and regulators.
  • provide technical guidance and/or oversee work performed by lower-level staff.
  • implement technical requirements to complete client projects by directing and supervising field staff to sample, test, and collect data.
  • evaluate laboratory and field data and assemble in written reports.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Nevada Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, compliance, assessment, or related environmental services.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance programs, site assessments, and regulatory reporting.
  • Excellent verbal, technical writing, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional environmental certifications or registrations applicable to Nevada and neighboring states.
  • Experience conducting Property Condition Assessments (PCA), Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), and environmental due diligence projects.
  • Industrial hygiene experience, including asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor air quality, or related assessments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory programs in Nevada, California, Arizona, and Utah.
  • Experience preparing technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation.
