THE WORK:
  • You'll provide market sector leadership for Accenture's utility and energy grant consulting practice, with accountability for growth, delivery, and client outcomes.
  • You'll conduct business development, capture strategy, proposal leadership, and senior client relationships across the Federal energy funding landscape.
  • You'll oversee full grant lifecycle advisory - from opportunity identification and application through budget compliance, audit, and closeout.
  • You'll manage a team of grant professionals across multiple concurrent engagements, with direct responsibility for performance, development, and culture.
  • You'll provide go-to-market strategy for new DOE and Federal funding opportunities, regulatory shifts, and cross-sector service expansion.
  • You'll oversee internal practice operations including financial performance, quality management, risk, and reporting.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Deep, hands-on experience with DOE Federal grant programs - IRA, IIJA, OCED, Grid Resilience, energy efficiency rebates, or comparable Federal energy and infrastructure funding
  • Expert-level command of Federal grant compliance, 2 CFR 200, and audit standards - you are the authority in the room
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in grant management, compliance, public administration, or related fields - with demonstrable growth in scope and seniority
  • Private consulting background - you've operated in a fee-for-service environment, managed client relationships, and contributed to business development 
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Proven track record leading and developing multi-person teams in a consulting or professional services context
  • Experience designing, managing, or auditing publicly funded programs on behalf of clients
