Key Responsibilities

• Conduct personalized assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapy strategies for each client.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health treatment.
• Utilize a wide range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting methods based on client needs.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all client records are accurate and up to date.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed about advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, many of whom may experience barriers to accessing mental health care. Clients will range from individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma to couples and families facing relational challenges. By applying a client-centered approach, you will help empower individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a counseling role, preferably within a clinical environment.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other digital tools relevant to telehealth services.
