In this vital role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to a diverse client base, fostering personal growth and emotional well-being. You will be instrumental in delivering care through innovative telehealth solutions, enabling improved access to mental health services for those in need.

About the Organization

Life Stance Behavioral Center is a leader in the mental health field, devoted to delivering comprehensive behavioral health services. Our mission is centered around accessibility, aiming to support individuals and families who may have limited access to traditional mental health care. We believe that everyone deserves compassionate support and effective treatment for their mental health challenges. By working in a remote environment, we can reach clients across various locations, ensuring that help is available wherever it is needed.

Work Environment

As a remote team member, you will enjoy a flexible work setting designed to promote a healthy work-life balance. Our telehealth facility allows you to support clients from the comfort of your home while utilizing advanced digital tools to provide seamless care. You will collaborate with colleagues across diverse disciplines, all committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through effective treatment modalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct personalized assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapy strategies for each client.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health treatment.
  • Utilize a wide range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting methods based on client needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all client records are accurate and up to date.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed about advancements in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, many of whom may experience barriers to accessing mental health care. Clients will range from individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma to couples and families facing relational challenges. By applying a client-centered approach, you will help empower individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a counseling role, preferably within a clinical environment.
  • A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse clientele.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other digital tools relevant to telehealth services.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
  • Comprehensive benefits package that includes dental, vision, and health insurance to meet your personal and family needs.
  • Provision of malpractice insurance to ensure peace of mind in your professional practice.
  • Support in managing client referrals, billing, and documentation to lighten your administrative load, allowing you to focus on client care.
  • Potential for a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates to welcome you to our team.
