As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Mental Aid Psychological Services, you will play a critical role in enhancing the mental well-being of your clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify individual patient needs and developing personalized treatment plans that adhere to evidence-based practices.
• Providing psychotherapy to individuals with varying mental health concerns through modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other innovative approaches tailored to client preferences.
• Keeping thorough and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practices.
• Engaging in collaborative treatment with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participating in regular case consultations and contributing to peer review meetings to cultivate a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in therapeutic interventions.
• Delivering psychoeducation and support to patients and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources.
• Staying informed of the latest developments in mental health treatment and integrating new findings into your practice.
• Managing a complete caseload effectively and ensuring timely progress toward treatment goals, while upholding the ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

The patients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and present a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and relational challenges. Your effectiveness in applying evidence-based therapies will prove instrumental in fostering lasting changes and improving their overall quality of life.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, with a proven focus on providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-focused interventions and psychotherapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, demonstrated through the ability to connect with clients and collaborate with team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to assess situations and respond with appropriate interventions.
• The ability to thrive in a team-oriented and dynamic work environment.

• Experience working with marginalized and underserved populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.
• Training in specific therapeutic modalities beyond the foundational techniques is a plus.
