• Conduct thorough assessments and initial evaluations of clients’ mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans and goals based on their requirements.
• Provide individualized and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to address different mental health conditions effectively.
• Maintain ongoing case management by monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and documenting all interactions in secure electronic records.
• Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary, assisting clients during acute episodes and ensuring their safety.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of the client’s health are addressed.
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, including clients and their families, to maintain transparency and foster trust.
• Provide educational resources and support programs to clients and their families, empowering them to manage and understand mental health challenges.

As a Mental Health Counselor at South Pine Care Center, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your compassionate and skilled approach will be essential in creating supportive spaces for clients to express their emotions and work through their experiences. The center emphasizes equity in treatment, focusing on personalized approaches that respect the individuality of each person.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• A valid licensure as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting is essential.

• Experience with diverse populations and knowledge of cultural competency in mental health services is highly desirable.
• Clinical expertise in evidence-based therapeutic practices and familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct crisis interventions and an understanding of trauma-informed care will be advantageous.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 135,000 annually based on experience.
• Opportunity for sign-on bonuses up to $1,500.
