• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique experiences and needs, allowing for appropriate and focused treatment planning.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist patients in processing trauma.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.
• Engage with clients in crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention to mitigate trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources to aid in their healing journey.
• Maintain accurate case documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards while utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and case consultations to enhance your skills in trauma-informed care.

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those struggling with PTSD, anxiety, and related disorders. Our diverse patient population encompasses people from varying backgrounds, which enriches the therapeutic experience and promotes a deeper understanding of the multifaceted impact of trauma.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly related to trauma-informed therapy, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experience in evidence-based interventions to address trauma-related disorders.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and other relevant software platforms for documentation and patient management.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating calmness and professionalism in high-stress situations.

Preferred candidates will have demonstrated hands-on experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and possess a deep understanding of trauma responses. Experience in a telehealth environment is also a plus, as it better prepares you to navigate the unique aspects of remote therapy.
