As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities aimed at supporting students within their educational setting, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify students' emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
• Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans that accommodate both individual goals and educational objectives.
• Providing individual and group counseling to address issues such as anxiety, depression, peer relationships, and family dynamics.
• Serving as an advocate for students to ensure they have access to necessary educational resources and mental health services.
• Collaborating with teachers, school administrators, and parents to create a supportive educational atmosphere for all students.
• Monitoring and documenting student progress through detailed records, ensuring timely follow-up and adjustment of care plans as necessary.
• Facilitating workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on topics related to social-emotional health and support strategies.

This role primarily focuses on students enrolled in school-based programs, where you will engage with children from diverse backgrounds and varying needs. You will provide culturally competent support to families, helping to navigate the resources available to them while addressing challenges associated with schooling and mental health. Your expertise will facilitate students' emotional resilience and promote pathways to academic success.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong knowledge of child development, mental health issues prevalent in school-age children, and related community resources.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students, families, and faculty.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technologies for documentation and communication.

While a minimum of two years of experience in a social work role is required, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience working in educational settings or with school-aged populations.
• Background in crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques.
• Understanding of current trends in mental health services in schools and community programs.
• Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process.

The salary range for this position is USD 60,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
