Heal Street Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in Hartford, Connecticut. In this full-time, remote role, you will work closely with clients facing a range of mental health challenges, playing a critical role in improving their overall wellbeing. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining a focus on collaboration and teamwork. With hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, you will have a structured schedule that allows for both professional accountability and personal well-being.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will:

• Assess and diagnose clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.
• Provide evidence-based treatment strategies, inclusive of individual, group, and family therapy.
• Create and implement integrated care plans while ensuring seamless communication among clients, their families, and healthcare providers.
• Engage in crisis intervention techniques when necessary, offering support and stabilizing clients in distress.
• Monitor client interactions throughout their service journey, from initial assessments to discharge criteria, maintaining high standards of care.
• Participate actively in team meetings and committees focused on quality improvement and enhancing service delivery.
• Document all patient care activities clearly and concisely, ensuring compliance with professional regulatory standards.

Your clinical engagement will primarily focus on under-served populations facing various mental health challenges. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique life experiences and systemic barriers to care. This role mandates cultural sensitivity and an understanding of how socioeconomic factors impact mental health and wellness.

To be considered for this critical role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
• Current LCSW licensure in the state of Connecticut.
• At least two years of clinical experience with a strong background in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills necessary for effective client interactions and documentation.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities supported by an ability to work independently and collaboratively.
