We are seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer with a strong background in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 application development to join our dynamic team. This role requires expertise in Oracle Integration development as well as Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 application development.  The position will be able to work remotely but we prefer that the Engineer live in the Southeast and within drivable distance to the corporate office in Duncan, SC. 

The Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer will design, develop, implement, support, and maintain enterprise-grade integrations across Oracle EBS applications, Salesforce, and numerous third-party systems. The incumbent will also apply strong Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 application development skills to support and extend EBS environments. The role requires expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP API management, middleware integration patterns, and Oracle EBS R12 development toolsets. The developer will work closely with Applications development team members, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, robust and maintainable integration solutions and EBS R12 extensions aligned with enterprise architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and support integrations in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) using file-based, REST, SOAP, database, Salesforce and several other adapters.
  • Design, develop, and manage APIs (REST/SOAP) for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid integration scenarios.
  • Perform design, unit testing, performance tuning, and implementation of both real-time and batch integrations.
  • Build and maintain error handling, auditing, scheduling, monitoring, and alerting for OIC integrations.
  • Apply thorough knowledge of Mapping, Lookups, End point connections, XSLT, Agents, Packages, and other OIC platform features.
  • Assess current integration landscapes across Oracle EBS, and third-party systems and recommend improvements.
  • Define and establish best practices for integration layers, API management and governance, error handling, monitoring, and scalability.
  • Leverage pre-built integrations, pre-built adapters, database adapters, connections, and SaaS applications in delivered solutions.
  • Perform routine configuration updates and enhancements to existing integrations.
  • Design, develop, document, test, and implement solutions and extensions to the Oracle EBS R12 suite, including Finance, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay modules and Discrete Manufacturing (INV, BOM, WIP, QA, MRP).
  • Apply solid working knowledge of Oracle R12 architecture, SQL, SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, Developer 10g toolset, Linux, Oracle Workflow Builder, BI Publisher, and OA Framework toolsets.
  • Lead design sessions with IT leadership and business stakeholders; provide recommendations on standardization and performance optimization.
  • Consistently demonstrate sound software development practices following the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
  • Abide by prescribed standards and procedures designed to guarantee compliance with key control objectives (e.g., JSOX).

  • Work primarily with Application development team members and Business Analysts to design, develop, and implement solutions.
  • Work with internal and external customers, suppliers, and partners to understand business requirements behind solution development and integration initiatives.
  • Initiate and participate in development projects by collaborating with the stakeholders to drive process improvements.
  • Manage work adhering to prioritization processes and take direction from senior members of the development team.
  • Work with partners and providers to resolve software and application problems, taking ownership through satisfying resolution.
  • Question existing processes and procedures and offer suggestions for continuous improvement.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • 4-year college/university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Management.
    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on development experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations.
    • 3+ years of API management experience, including designing and operating REST/SOAP APIs.
    • End-to-end OIC implementation experience with at least one full Oracle SaaS/PaaS/IaaS implementation project.
    • Experience with design and development of Webservices/APIs for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid solutions.
    • Deep understanding of API-led architecture, middleware and integration patterns, data transformation and orchestration.
    • Minimum 5 years of Oracle EBS R12 application development experience in a global manufacturing company.
    • Strong technical Oracle EBS R12 skillset: Oracle database, SQL, SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, Developer 10g toolset, Linux, Oracle Workflow Builder, BI Publisher, OA Framework toolsets.
    • Good functional understanding of EBS R12 Discrete Manufacturing (INV, WIP, BOM, QA, MRP), Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay modules.
    • Strong working experience developing extensions in EBS R12 Discrete Manufacturing, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay modules.
    • Strong working experience building integrations in and out of EBS leveraging APIs and Open Interfaces using middleware integration tools.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

    Preferred:

    • Experience working in large-scale Oracle EBS multi-region/global implementations.
    • Prior experience defining integration governance models and architectural standards.
    • Familiarity with related Oracle tools: OCI API CS Gateway, Oracle APEX.
    • 2+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Financials integrations (including finance common processes/modules).
