Job Description We are seeking a Temporary Web Developer (WordPress) to join our dynamic team supporting client-branded web properties. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in WordPress development with PHP, JavaScript, and modern tooling and a proven ability to ship performant, secure, and maintainable features at scale using an AI-first workflow. Responsibilities: Maintain and improve WordPress site features using JavaScript and PHP.

Create and modify custom WordPress plugins and themes, including bug fixes and updates. Translate stakeholder requirements into robust technical solutions. Enhance responsiveness and optimize performance across devices.

Triage and resolve technical issues with root-cause analysis. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and secure coding practices. Implement an AI-first development workflow using modern toolsets.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven WordPress development with PHP and JavaScript. Hands-on experience building custom themes and plugins from the ground up. Strong HTML/CSS with accessibility and maintainability best practices.

Knowledge of WordPress hooks, PHP APIs, the block editor, and REST API. Analytical problem-solving with ability to manage tasks independently in high-pressure environments. Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
