• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, to determine the appropriate treatment needs of each client.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patients’ unique goals and cultural sensitivities.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused brief treatment (SFBT), to facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, families, and groups.
• Provide crisis intervention services and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients experiencing acute distress.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.
• Offer education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and coping strategies to manage disorders effectively.
• Engage in ongoing evaluation of treatment outcomes to make necessary adjustments to therapeutic approaches, ensuring optimal patient care.
• Stay current with research and trends in mental health care, integrating new findings into practice and continuously improving the quality of service provided.
• Adhere strictly to the ethical guidelines governing social work practice, maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity at all times.
