Job description

SUMMARY

 The Area Supervisor supports daily service delivery across a specific territory by assisting with contractor oversight, resolving service issues, and helping ensure high-quality execution in the field. This entry-level role is designed to build experience in operations, service management, and vendor coordination while contributing to the success of store locations and new store launches. This position resides in the Fort Wayne, IN area and will be servicing IN & MI.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Support & Field Execution

  • Assist with monitoring daily service tasks to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Help resolve basic field service issues and report escalations to the AM/ROM.
  • Participate in Resolution Tracking System (RTS) task tracking and basic documentation.
  • Support/attend services & NSO’s by coordinating setup and helping onboard service contractors.

Contractor/Technician Engagement

  • Serve as a local support contact for contractor partners (CPs) & W technicians (SPs) under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Help reinforce service expectations, appearance standards, and safety practices.
  • Participate in CP onboarding sessions, recruiting & training events.

Field Monitoring & Reporting

  • Conduct basic store walkthroughs and report observations to the ROM.
  • Document contractor performance and assist in tracking service completion and quality metrics.
  • Identify recurring service concerns and provide data-driven input for improvements.

Learning & Development

  • Receive training in service operations, vendor performance management, and market oversight.
  • Shadow ROM/Area Managers and attend field visits to build industry knowledge and operational skills.
  • Develop proficiency in performance reporting tools and service management platforms.

SPECIAL PROJECTS:

  • Take on additional responsibilities or special projects as required.
  • Provide assistance to others within and outside the department based on evolving business needs.

 

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years in field operations, service delivery, or contractor/vendor management
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in field reporting tools and performance tracking software
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and maintain an active drivers license 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in facilities management, retail operations, or a related field
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
  • Experience with onboarding, training, or contractor management systems
