Journey Recovery Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and licensed mental health professional for the Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor position. The ideal candidate will be a licensed clinician (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) who is passionate about improving the mental health and wellness of a diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to pinpoint mental health concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques tailored to clients’ specific needs.
  • Offer crisis intervention to clients undergoing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and stabilization.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, while adhering to all legal and ethical regulations.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide coherent and comprehensive care.
