Job description

ASL Financial, LLC is a boutique financial planning, tax, and investment advisory practice serving individuals, families, business owners, ERISA plans, divorce clients, and high-net-worth clients with complex planning needs. The firm is intentionally small, highly relationship-driven, and built almost entirely through client and professional referrals rather than advertising or public marketing.
We are seeking an experienced, highly ethical, intellectually curious Associate Advisor who can step into a trusted role and relieve the firm principal of at least one significant dimension of the practice. Depending on the candidate's background, this role could emphasize financial planning, tax planning and preparation, divorce financial analysis, investment operations, client service, or brokerage/advisory account support.
This position is permanently remote. This position is open to candidates in Pacific or Mountain time zones.
Benefits:
  • Starting salary of $90,000 - $120,000 based on experience and credentials
  • 401(k) after 1 year
  • Mentorship and learning opportunities
  • Firm-sponsored CFP prep-course and testing
  • Great working environment with professional growth opportunities.

Primary Duties:
  • Financial planning and advanced planning support using NaviPlan
  • Tax planning and assist with tax preparation
  • Assist with investment operations and brokerage support
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Understand clients' financial goals and preferences
  • Stay informed on financial market trends and regulatory changes
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies, conducting due diligence on prospective clients and implementing risk mitigation measures

Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, tax prep, estate planning, divorce financial analysis or brokerage/advisory operations
  • Experience with financial planning software
  • Ability to learn new concepts and software packages quickly
  • Independently motivated, have excellent communication skills and have a strong work ethic
  • Ability to identify, meet, and follow through with client's needs and requirements
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organized and strong time management skills
  • Experience/ability to work from home while maintaining a professional setting

Qualified candidates will start the process by having a 15-30 minute zoom interview conducted by our consultant who is the hiring manager for this position. If there is ground to move forward, you will be required to fill out a Career History Form and if you are selected to advance in the process, you will meet with the firm. Qualified candidates will be asked to take assessments.
We are an equal opportunity employer.
