Job description

We are seeking bilingual (English/Spanish) construction professionals to record Spanish-language lectures for online construction apprenticeship courses.


About Us

Cam Services provides apprenticeship training for the renewable energy and construction industries. We train apprentices in Construction Craft Laborer, Solar Technician, Electrician, and Heavy Equipment Operator occupations.


About You

We are currently hiring:

  • Spanish-speaking Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators
  • Spanish-speaking Experienced Electricians (currently or previously held a journeyman, master, or similar electrical license

*Solar or renewable energy experience is a plus.


*This is a part-time role that may be done in the evenings or weekends, on your own schedule.  


Qualifications

  • Professional experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or Electrician
  • Strong Spanish and English fluency
  • Comfortable presenting on camera
  • Teaching experience is NOT required
  • U.S.-based candidates preferred


About the Role

Instructors will record approximately one 1.5–2-hour lecture per week on their own schedule. We provide the completed Spanish slide deck and script, English reference materials, and an English recording of the lecture.


The instructor will:


  • Review materials for technical accuracy and appropriate Spanish construction terminology
  • Prepare and become familiar with the lecture content
  • Record the lecture in Spanish on camera
  • Incorporate relevant examples and experiences from their own construction career

This is a flexible independent contractor position requiring approximately 5–7 hours per week.


Compensation: $400 per completed lecture.


Recording equipment and training are provided. Instructors need a laptop with a camera, reliable high-speed internet, and a quiet place to record.
