• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to understand the social, emotional, and environmental challenges faced by students and their families.
• Develop individualized service plans that outline specific goals, interventions, and methods for progress monitoring.
• Provide individual and family counseling services aimed at addressing a wide range of life challenges, from behavioral issues to academic stress.
• Establish collaborative relationships with clients to create personalized pathways to connect them with community resources that meet their needs.
• Employ crisis intervention strategies, including risk assessments and safety planning, to address urgent situations effectively.
• Coordinate with educational staff and community organizations to streamline services and advocate for client needs.
• Engage in proactive community outreach efforts to enhance awareness of mental health resources and promote the availability of agency services.
• Participate in regular case conferences, training sessions, and team meetings to enhance service delivery and collaboration.

You will primarily work with school-aged children and their families, addressing mental health concerns that impact academic performance, emotional stability, and overall family dynamics. Your direct involvement will help bridge the gap between educational challenges and mental health support, fostering a safe and supportive environment for students.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active licensing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• Strong understanding of social justice issues, community resources, and trauma-informed care practices.
• Outstanding communication skills, with an emphasis on cultural competence and problem-solving capabilities to address diverse client needs.

• Prior experience working within a social service agency or educational setting, particularly in a counseling or advocacy capacity.
