Job description

The Platform Engineering Senior Manager is a strategic leader who effectively cascades functional strategy and contributes to development of organizational policies in the areas of Platform Engineering and Product Application Security Engineering. The incumbent translates business segment strategy info functional plans and guides execution to ensure high performance and reliability of the company's cloud and on-premises systems. They lead teams to develop new methods and solve complex matters to create systems that are secure by design and to anticipate and reconcile complex security challenges. 

This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.

This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in the information technology (IT) field. In lieu of a degree, at least 11 years of experience in IT
  • 8+ years of experience in IT  
  • 4+ years of experience managing direct reports

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise SaaS platforms and vendor relationships, including platform lifecycle management, contract and license optimization, security and compliance oversight, service-level management, and adoption of SaaS best practices across the organization.
  • Experience in platform engineering
  • 8+ years of leadership experience managing large-scale engineering organizations supporting mission-critical enterprise platforms and digital customer experiences
  • Experience establishing application platform engineering governance, operating models, and organizational structures that drive scalability, reliability, security, and business value across multiple product and engineering domains
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and align technology investments with business strategy while leading complex, multi-platform ecosystems that include identity, commerce, content, search, data, and architecture capabilities
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional technology initiatives on time and within budget, with accountability for strategic roadmaps, milestone achievement, resource planning, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience establishing and leading operational excellence practices for enterprise platforms, including service reliability, availability, performance management, incident response, disaster recovery, observability, and continuous improvement programs.

  • Leads team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters.
