What you'll achieve As a Principal Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers' priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor who avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
You will:
• Coordinate and support the planning of network architecture initiatives, resources, timelines, and stakeholder alignment for the dynamic, large-scale data center environments
• Facilitate the gathering and documentation of project requirements, managing the creation and organization of comprehensive project plans, milestone trackers, and reusable process templates that support network design efforts
• Organize and manage the scheduling, logistics, and documentation workflow for internal Network Peer Reviews and Change Advisory Board presentations, ensuring review packages are complete, distributed, and tracked through approval
• Serve as the primary coordination and communication point during Major Incident Management (MIM) events, mobilizing cross-functional resources, managing stakeholder notifications, and tracking resolution progress to ensure rapid restoration of critical data center network services
• Manage the on-call rotation schedule, ensuring adequate coverage, clear escalation paths, and up-to-date contact information to support continuous network availability
• Track complex change requests including data center network migrations, upgrade activities, and large-scale infrastructure transitions; managing dependencies, risk documentation, and cross-team coordination throughout execution
• Partner with network engineers and architects to translate high-level project objectives into structured work plans, task assignments, and delivery timelines that align physical and logical implementation activities
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with direct customers and broader service delivery stakeholders, serving as a primary point of contact for status reporting, expectation management, and satisfaction alignment
• Identify delivery management process improvements and lead or support their implementation to enhance operational efficiency, resource utilization, and overall service quality • Target opportunities for growth within the customer environment

Compensation
  • Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is USD 122,400 - USD 158,400
