BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will independently lead cross-functional teams to strategically select top-quality products and suppliers at the most competitive prices and overall terms. You will be a driving force in continually seeking out opportunities to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and improve business conditions. Working in close partnership with internal stakeholders, you will identify and define their requirements, and draft, negotiate, and manage complex contracts. Your expertise in supplier relationship management will ensure that we maintain productive and mutually beneficial partnerships over the long term. You will act as a trusted resource for solving business issues, leveraging your deep understanding of procurement strategies to provide innovative and effective solutions.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Leading the negotiation and contract management of large-scale, enterprise-wide volume purchase agreements without guidance.
  • Demonstrating project management expertise with the ability to carry projects from strategic planning through implementation.
  • Leading cross functional teams to develop meaningful requirements to ensure quality responses from suppliers.
  • Researching and developing adequate sources of supply.
  • Utilizing supply market knowledge to leverage best strategy for Charter.
  • Leading cross functional supplier selection activities through management of formal RFP, RFQ and RFI processes.
  • Evaluating the financial stability of potential suppliers.
  • Performing required business analysis with a strategic focus on total cost of ownership.
  • Providing fact-based recommendations to executive level management for constructing the best overall strategic buy decisions.
  • Continuously seeking out cost savings opportunities and leading efforts to realize the savings.
  • Managing overall supplier performance using Strategic Relationship Management tool set – including acting as an escalation point in the event of non-performance.
  • Independently developing a strategic category plan based on an understanding of business goals and objectives, the supply market and benchmarking.
  • Effectively documenting, communicating and gaining buy-in across the organization to ensure alignment.
  • Managing stakeholder groups through technology adoption.
  • Working beyond the traditional procurement metrics to achieve operational and technical improvements to the business process.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Procurement contract negotiation and contract management experience - 5+ years
  • Electronic procurement and or contract solutions experience - 1-3 years
  • Direct industry or company experience – 2 years
  • Proven ability to manage and influence all phases of change management
  • Comprehensive understanding of the P2P process

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred

Working Conditions

  • Onsite (four days in office/one day remote)

The base pay for this position generally is between $98,900.00 and $191,100.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
