Commercial Litigation Attorney


Career Consulting Partners is partnered with a boutique litigation firm that works on complex matters at the federal level. Some of those industries are Aerospace, engineering, private equity, financial services, real estate, construction, energy, oil, and manufacturing. We are looking for candidates with a sincere interest in career succession, direct mentorship, and joining a long-term Partner track.

We are actively searching for a Mid to senior-level attorney focusing on Commercial Litigation. The ideal candidate brings 4 to 5 years of litigation experience, possesses excellent case management skills, and demonstrates a proven ability to consistently bill at least 1,800 hours annually. In this role, you will work closely with and take clear direction from a Supervising Partner while enjoying the autonomy to manage your workflow.


Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage a robust caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.

  • Meet or exceed a target of 1,800 billable hours per year.

  • Collaborate directly with a Supervising Partner, executing on case strategy and taking clear direction.

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and comprehensive legal briefs.

  • Conduct discovery, including taking and defending depositions.

  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and potentially trial proceedings.

  • Actively participate in mentorship and development opportunities geared toward a long-term Partner track.

  • Optional but encouraged: Originate new business and client matters to leverage the firm’s origination commission structure.

Qualifications:
  • 4 to 5 years of dedicated commercial litigation practice experience

  • Active and in good standing to practice law in New York and/or Texas.

  • A demonstrated track record of billing at least 1,800 hours per year.

  • Highly motivated by performance-based earnings, autonomous, and eager for direct mentorship and career succession.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary Compensation: $130,000 - $180,000

  • Origination Commissions Bonus

  • Uncapped earning potential through transparent, tiered quarterly bonuses.

  • Flexible, remote-friendly work environment

  • Can live anywhere in the United States as long as admitted to practice law in New York, and or Texas

Location:
  • Fully Remote

  • Must live in the United States

  • Headquarters is in Dallas, TX would also highly welcome an attorney in the office, but would not be against fully remote.

  • Must be able to jump on a plane for a court appearance or deposition if leading a case
