This position is fully remote, encouraging flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for senior clients to identify specific emotional and psychological care needs.
• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions aimed at alleviating emotional distress related to aging, loss, and transition.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.
• Educate family members and caretakers on effective strategies to support the emotional well-being of elderly individuals, enhancing their quality of life.
• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for residents and their families, helping them cope with end-of-life issues.

The primary clientele for this role includes elderly individuals facing various challenges, such as coping with the loss of loved ones, dealing with significant life transitions, and managing mental health conditions common in later life. Counselors are expected to adapt their methodologies to account for cultural differences and personal circumstances, ensuring that every individual receives the support they need.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a recognized mental health setting.
• Eligibility for licensure in the State of Massachusetts is mandatory.
• A valid driver's license with a good standing record is essential for certain outreach responsibilities.
• Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on building trust and rapport with clients quickly.
• Strong active listening skills combined with a compassionate approach to helping clients navigate their mental health challenges.
• Meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational abilities.

Preference will be given to candidates with specialized experience in geriatric mental health and addiction counseling, as well as those with a history of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Candidates who can demonstrate advanced clinical skills, cultural competence, and a proactive approach to client care will be prioritized.

The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, we offer a sign-on bonus and monthly productivity bonuses to reward dedication and performance.
