JOB SUMMARY: Following established conventions and guidelines, codes and abstracts the medical records of the diverse population of ER records with facility E&M levels. Meets departmental accuracy and production standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • (1) One to (3) Three years of experience.
  • Education - associate's degree preferred - Health Information Management, Health Information Technology or any related field.
  • Certifications required - CCS, CPC, RHIA or RHIT
