  • Create and implement individualized care plans that reflect each patient's unique circumstances, including cultural considerations and specific needs.
  • Continuously monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches based on their evolving mental health status.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to anticipate treatment outcomes, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhering to regulatory standards and department protocols.
  • Facilitate collaborative treatment planning sessions with patients and their families to outline clear goals and desired outcomes for their mental health journey.
  • Coordinate referrals and serve as a vital link between patients and various treatment providers, fostering effective communication and continuity of care.
  • Play a mentorship role by providing guidance and educational support to students, interns, and peers, sharing expertise in clinical practices and patient engagement strategies.
  • Assist in departmental initiatives related to chart audits, coaching, and peer-performance reviews under the supervision of clinical leadership.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role involves working with individuals and families impacted by a cancer diagnosis. Your empathetic and supportive approach will be crucial in helping clients navigate the emotional and psychological challenges associated with their diagnosis and treatment. By fostering a reassuring environment, you contribute significantly to their recovery and overall well-being.

Qualifications

  • Valid State License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within oncology or palliative care settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and practices in mental health care.
  • Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
