This role is ideal for an experienced social worker who wishes to make a significant impact on the lives of students and their families. With a focus on emotional and mental well-being, the LCSW will provide insightful assessments and personalized interventions to enhance the overall quality of life for our student population.

About the Organization

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we are committed to creating supportive and nurturing environments for our community's youth. Our organization values the importance of mental health and emotional stability as fundamental components to educational success and personal development. We prioritize innovative strategies and collaborative approaches to address the unique challenges faced by students, aiming to foster resilience and growth in every individual.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility while being embedded in the school system's support structure. The social worker will have access to digital tools and resources to facilitate effective communication and remote engagement with students and families. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with periodic evenings or weekends as necessary to meet client needs, making flexibility a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of students' psychosocial needs, considering both emotional and social influences on their academic and personal lives.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop tailored care plans that address specific academic and emotional goals for each student.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions aimed at equipping students with coping strategies to handle personal and academic challenges.
  • Advocate on behalf of students to facilitate access to community resources and support systems, ensuring they receive appropriate care and assistance.
  • Monitor student progress through regular assessments, adjusting care plans and interventions as necessary to prioritize their evolving needs.
  • Facilitate workshops for parents and guardians that outline local resources, stress management techniques, and effective communication strategies.
  • Maintain organized and confidential records of all clinical activities, care plans, and student interactions to ensure compliance and quality of care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training and education to keep updated with best practices in social work.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus for this role is the student population within the school setting. The LCSW will address a variety of challenges that students face, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and family dynamics that may affect their educational experience. By supporting both students and their families, this role plays a critical part in enhancing the educational atmosphere and overall community well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
  • At least two years of professional experience in a clinical social work environment, with a preference for those who have worked within educational settings.
  • A strong understanding of social work principles, especially those pertaining to child psychology and adolescent behavioral health.
  • Exceptional counseling, assessment, and communication skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships with students and families.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to manage case documentation and client interactions efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with school systems and understanding of academic pressures students face.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and culturally competent therapeutic techniques.
  • Knowledge of local resources and community services available for children and families.
Compensation and Benefits
