This position is embedded within a community health clinic setting, but the role is conducted entirely remotely. Our remote infrastructure is bolstered by a dedicated support team to ensure seamless communication and client care. You'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative team environment, engaging with peers through regular virtual meetings and case reviews. As a remote counselor, you will have access to state-of-the-art software and resources that facilitate secure client interactions and record-keeping.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health needs, employing validated assessment tools to establish a deep understanding of their challenges, strengths, and goals.
• Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy interventions tailored to a wide spectrum of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that are strategically aligned with clients’ identified goals, incorporating feedback and preferences to enhance engagement and adherence.
• Provide crisis intervention strategies, assisting clients who may be experiencing acute mental health crises with timely and supportive responses.
• Educate clients on mental health literacy, coping mechanisms, and the array of community resources available, empowering them towards self-sufficiency.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Uphold ethical principles and legal requirements relevant to therapy practice, ensuring all client interactions are conducted with respect to confidentiality and informed consent.
• Demonstrate cultural competence when engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds to ensure all individuals feel understood and valued.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive client care.

You will serve a diverse clientele within our community, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Responsibilities will involve working with clients facing various mental health challenges, ranging from mild to severe conditions. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Active State licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, working with a similar patient population is preferred.
• Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care will be highly regarded.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
